A nostalgic sigh escaped your lips as you gazed down at the picture of you and the Vargas twins. Feliciano's arm was slung over your shoulders, a happy grin on his goofy face that always made you smile. You own lips were curved into a small smile, but it wasn't because of the happy-go-lucky brother to your left.
Lovino Vargas had a rare smirk on his lips and, though his arms were crossed loosely over his chest, happiness shone in his amber eyes. You were so lost in gazing at the handsome Italian in the photo that you didn't notice the three men walk into your house until they towered over you.
"Hey (F/n)~" one of them, Gilbert, chirped down to you. The picture frame clattered from your hands to the carpeted floor that you were sitting on.
You looked up to see Gilbert, Francis, and Antonio all standing over you, sly smirks on their faces. "How the Hell did you monsters managed to slither in here? And don't even pretend to have squeezed your fat asses through the window, cause I know you couldn't fit."
The hurt on their faces was worth it, before their evil grins came back.
Antonio leaned down to you, his green eyes shining. "Hey, (F/n)~ What are you looking at?"
Blushing, you tried to hide the picture only to have it pulled away by a certain Frenchman. As Francis laughed his creepy laugh, you stood, only to wobble a bit on your numb legs. Gil and Toni each wrapped an arm around your waist.
"So, chica. I know you like my little Lovi, and he likes you, so go tell him!" Antonio cheered from your left. They began walking out the door, leading you in the direction of a local park.
Your already red face darkened. "I-I do not!" you stammered. The three men chuckled at you, and you suddenly had an idea.
Pushing away from the three of them, you faced them and you placed you hands on your hips before opening your mouth in hopes of deterring them from their attempts to match you up with the stubborn Italian man who haunted your day dreams.
"If there's a prize for rotten judgement
I guess I've already won that
No man is worth the aggravation
That's ancient history, been there, done that!"
You turned away, in the direction of your house, and the Bad Touch Trio shared a glance before skipping to your sides, Antonio moved in front of you, preventing your progress back home.
"Who d'ya think you're kiddin'
He's the Earth and heaven to you
Try to keep it hidden
Honey, we can see right through you
Girl, ya can't conceal it
We know how ya feel and
Who you're thinking of."
They continued to shove you towards the park, despite your resistance, and by the time you were singing the next verse of denial you could see the park gates.
"No chance, no way
I won't say it, no, no."
You spun around a bit while trying to shove past Francis, but the three foreign boys lightly pushed you down a path winding through the park that just so happened to pass by the field where Lovino was playing soccer with a group of his friends.
"You swoon, you sigh
why deny it, uh-oh?"
"It's too cliche
I won't say I'm in love!"
"I thought my heart had learned its lesson
It feels so good when you start out
My head is screaming get a grip, girl
Unless you're dying to cry your heart out!"
Your (e/c) eyes closed tightly and Antonio went to your side, ushering his friends to follow suit.
"You keep on denying
Who you are and how you're feeling
Baby, we're not buying
Hon, we saw ya hit the ceiling
Face it like a grown-up
When ya gonna own up
That ya got, got, got it bad?"
Face downcast, you hands pushed the guys away. By this point, Francis had noticed Lovino peering from his spot in the trees and was gesturing frantically in his direction. Antonio grinned and nodded, causing Gil and Francis to stalk towards the Italian boy and push him slightly out of the trees. They held him in place by the arms as Toni slowly guided you in his direction.
"Whoa: No chance, no way
I won't say it, no, no!"
"Give up, give in
Check the grin you're in love!"
Antonio gently took your hands in his a began waltzing towards Lovi. You pushed away, your back to the guards and their prisoner, and glared at the green-eyed Spaniard.
"This scene won't play,
I won't say I'm in love!"
Toni sighed and grasped your shoulders. You were blind to where you were going as he lightly shoved you backwards.
"You're doin flips read our lips
You're in love!
Your feet dug into the earth and you leaned into the hands of your captor. For some reason you were uneasy about moving backwards.
"You're way off base
I won't say it
Get off my case
I won't say it!"
By now, the brunette Italian was frozen to his spot so Gil and Francis came back as reinforcements.
"Girl, don't be proud
It's O.K. you're in love."
With one final shove, you tripped into the arms of the boy behind you. Mind not connecting the fact that all three of the clowns were in front of you and mind fogged by thoughts of your strong-willed Italian boy, you nuzzled gently into the warm chest at your back and sighed.
At least out loud,
I won't say I'm in love."
The Bad Touch Trio snuck off while your eyes were closed, leaving only you and Lovi in the trees together. Finally, your (e/c) eyes opened, revealing the startled amber eyes of the guy you dreamed about.
Your cheeks flushed red and you frantically apologized while trying to push out of his strong arms. When Lovi continued to hold you like something too valuable to let go, you looked up him. His own copper eyes were directed up to the sky and his face was pointed to his side, away from you.
He cleared his throat and glanced down at you. His arms clutched you closer to his chest and his eyelids closed contently. With a small smile he pressed his lips against your temple. A wide grin cracked his hard features when he saw your blush.
You were disappointed when he pulled away slightly, but your remorse was forgotten when his soft lips lightly pecked against your own.
You were pulled close again and could just barely make out his next words against the pounding of his nervous heart.
"Would it be alright if I say I'm in love?"
